Wheat Wheel Fryer Machine
Wheat Wheel Fryer (also known as a Fryums or Pellets Fryer) for products
like Namak Para and Shakkar Para is a continuous frying system designed to
handle dough-based snacks that expand rapidly and float.
In Ahmedabad, these machines are typically built with a Double Mesh Belt
to keep the floating wheat wheels submerged, ensuring they are perfectly
"khasta" (crispy) and evenly colored on both sides.

2. Specialized Features for Namak/Shakkar Para
- Submerging
Conveyor: Dough-based wheat snacks are buoyant. Without a top
"hold-down" belt, one side stays raw while the other burns. This
machine sandwiches the product between two belts to ensure 360-degree
frying.
- Fines
Filtration: Flour and dough debris (fines) often fall off Namak Para. A
continuous Bucket or Paper Filter removes these particles instantly so the
oil doesn't turn black.
- Variable
Dwell Time: Different thicknesses of Shakkar Para require different frying
times. A VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) allows you to adjust the belt
speed from 45 seconds to 4 minutes.
- De-Oiling
Shaker: At the exit, a high-frequency vibratory screen removes surface
oil, which is critical for the sugar coating (syrup) to stick properly to
Shakkar Para later.
