De -Watering Machine
Bottom Discharge De-Watering Centrifuge is a high-automation machine
designed for food processing lines where manual lifting of heavy baskets is not
possible. Unlike standard "Top Discharge" models where you lift the
product out, this machine has a central opening or a hinged bottom plate that
opens once the cycle is complete, allowing the dried item to fall directly onto
a conveyor belt or into a collection trolley.

2. How the Bottom Opening Mechanism Works
- Spinning
Cycle: The product (fried snacks, washed vegetables, or seeds) is spun at
high speed to remove water/oil.
- Deceleration:
Once drying is finished, the motor slows down the basket to a very low RPM
(approx. 5–10 RPM).
- Opening: A Pneumatic
Cylinder or Hydraulic Arm pulls the bottom plate (Base Plate) downwards or
to the side.
- Discharge:
* Scraper Type: A mechanical blade (scraper) moves into the basket and
pushes the dried item through the bottom opening.
- Full
Opening Type: The entire bottom "floor" of the basket moves,
allowing the product to fall by gravity.
- Closing:
The bottom plate resets and locks airtight before the next feeding cycle
starts.
3. Key Benefits for Food Processing
- Hands-Free
Operation: Zero contact between the operator and the food, ensuring
maximum hygiene (GMP Standards).
- Continuous
Line Integration: This machine is usually placed directly under a
continuous washer or fryer and above a flavoring drum or packing conveyor.
- Labor
Saving: A single operator can manage a line producing 500+ kg/hr since
there is no heavy lifting involved.
- Vibration
Isolation: Most bottom-discharge units use a 4-Point Suspension with heavy
inertia plates to ensure the machine doesn't move during the high-speed
spin.
