A 6-foot diameter by 10-foot length retort is a "jumbo" class machine, usually requiring 4 to 6 loading baskets.

  • Sterilization Type: Steam, Water Spray, or Water Immersion (Overpressure).
  • Chamber Material: Food-grade SS 304 or SS 316L (Stainless Steel) for the inner vessel to prevent corrosion.
  • Capacity: Approximately 500 – 1000 kg per batch (depending on the product density).

·        ·  Floor Loading: Ensure your factory floor can support the weight of the vessel plus the water and product weight (often exceeding 5-8 tons).

·        ·  Certification: Ensure the manufacturer provides a Hydraulic Test Certificate and complies with ASME or IS 2825 standards for pressure vessels.
