Drum Mixer
Drum Mixer (also known as a Coating Pan or Seasoning Tumbler) is the
final stage in most snack production lines. It is designed to apply dry spices,
oils, or liquid flavors to your product (chips, puffs, nuts, or grains) without
breaking them.
In FRY-TECH, the market offers distinct styles of drum mixers depending
on whether you are running a continuous process.
1. Types of Drum Mixers
C. Continuous Seasoning Drum (Industrial)
A long horizontal drum that is slightly tilted. Product enters one end
and moves to the other while a "Flavor Applicator" (vibro-feeder)
sprinkles spices continuously.
