Tofu Skin Fryer Machine
A Fully Automatic Tofu Skin Fryer (often called a "Fried Bean
Curd" or "Tofu Puff" machine) is a specialized continuous
conveyor system.1 Unlike standard fryers, it is designed to handle
tofu's extremely high water content, which typically causes
"explosive" bubbling and rapid oil temperature drops.2
In Ahmedabad's food-tech sector, these machines are custom-built with Multi-Stage
Temperature Control to ensure the tofu skin (Yuba) or puffs expand perfectly
without becoming oily or rubbery.

2. Specialized Features for Tofu Skin
- Double
Layer Conveyor: Tofu skin and puffs are very light and float instantly. A
double-belt system "sandwiches" the product to keep it
submerged, ensuring even golden coloring on both sides.
- Rapid Heat
Recovery: Because tofu is wet, it cools the oil down the moment it enters.
These machines use high-calorie burners or large thermal reservoirs to
maintain a constant temperature curve, which is the secret to a
"spongy" interior.
- Advanced
Exhaust System: Frying tofu releases a massive amount of steam. The
machine features an enclosed hood with a high-velocity exhaust to prevent
moisture from falling back into the oil, which would cause spoilage.
- Automatic
Sediment Removal: Tofu often releases small particles during frying. A
longitudinal scraper at the bottom removes these "fines"
continuously to keep the oil clean.
